Balenciaga S.A. is a fashion house brand owned by the French multinational company Kering. It was originally founded in Spain by Cristóbal Balenciaga, a designer born in Spain. Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as “the master of us all” by Christian Dior.

First spotted on the Fall ’18 runway, Balenciaga’s sunglasses are made from black acetate and recall the silhouette of traditional ski masks. They’re set with square lenses and minimally detailed with a single stripe and the house moniker between the eyes. Wear them with an oversized coat and distressed jeans in the winter sun.
