Filorga AHA Cleansing Gel – Cleanse and Exfoliate Simultaneously
Most cleansers remove the day’s impurities and stop there. Filorga’s AHA Cleansing Gel does more: it incorporates alpha-hydroxy acids into the cleansing formula to deliver gentle exfoliation at the same time as thorough cleansing — so the skin emerges not just clean, but actively resurfaced and more radiant.
Exfoliation Without the Extra Step
AHA acids — specifically glycolic and lactic acid in this formula — gently loosen the bonds that hold dead surface cells in place, accelerating their removal during the rinse-off phase of cleansing. The result is a skin surface that is cleaner, more refined in texture, and noticeably more receptive to any serums or treatments applied afterwards.
The gel texture lathers gently without stripping the skin’s natural moisture barrier. It rinses completely clean with water, leaving no residue, tightness, or discomfort. Regular use over two to four weeks results in noticeably more even skin texture, reduced surface congestion, and a more luminous overall tone.
The 150ml bottle provides approximately two months of once-to-twice daily use. As with all AHA-containing products, daily SPF use is recommended during the cleansing course to protect the freshly exfoliated skin surface from UV damage.

Can Filorga AHA Cleansing Gel be used if I already use an AHA serum or treatment?
If you are already using a leave-on AHA product such as a serum or cream, exercise caution before adding this cleanser to your routine, as the combined acid load may be too high for some skin types — particularly sensitive skin. For most people, using the AHA Cleansing Gel as the sole AHA product in the routine, once daily, is sufficient for effective exfoliation without the risk of over-exfoliation.
Should I use Filorga AHA Cleansing Gel in the morning, evening, or both?
Once-daily use, either morning or evening, is typically sufficient for effective exfoliation without risk of over-stripping. Evening use allows the freshly cleansed and resurfaced skin to benefit from any treatment serums or creams applied in the nighttime routine. If you choose morning use, ensure SPF is always applied afterwards to protect the freshly exfoliated skin from UV damage throughout the day.
How does the AHA Cleansing Gel differ from Filorga's Enzymatic Cleansing Foam?
The AHA Cleansing Gel uses acid-based exfoliation (glycolic and lactic acids) that works through a pH-dependent chemical process — more powerful and faster-acting but requiring more caution for sensitive skin. The Enzymatic Cleansing Foam uses papain enzyme, which is gentler and pH-independent — better suited to reactive or sensitive skin types. Both cleanse thoroughly; the choice depends on skin tolerance.
