Joop! was launched in 1978 by German fashion designer Wolfgang Joop. The brand has remained highly popular throughout Germany and surrounding areas. The house was acquired by Holy Fashion Group in 2008, and the cosmetic and fragrance licenses are held by Coty. The first perfume was released in 1987, and dozens more have followed since. The company continues producing new fragrances today for contemporary consumers.
