Dior Homme Intense is a stylish and sophisticated, a successor of Dior Homme from 2005 and Dior Homme Cologne from 2007. The composition is with floral and woodsy accords just like the predecessors. Dior Homme Intense is a warmer and more seductive version, built around the iris powdery notes as the original, with the addition of more intense and sustainable notes. The perfume was created by Francois Demanchy.
In 2011, the fragrance was re-launched with insignificant changes in its composition.
The fragrance opens with fragrant sage, lavender and lemon. The powdery accord of iris in the heart is enhanced by subtle notes of ambrette, cocoa and hibiscus seed. The oriental base combines leather, Indonesian patchouli, Haitian vetiver and Virginia cedar, creating a masculine and sophisticate scent of precious wood.
