Esencia Cologne by Loewe, Esencia for men was first released in 1988 and is a great scent for any event, any season, day or night. The top notes are a mix of petitgrain, citrusy lemon, bergamot, galbanum, herbal tarragon, green notes, lavender, juniper berries, and artemisia. The scent then transitions to the heart notes of black currant, geranium, pine tree needles, rose, lily-of-the-valley, neroli, jasmine, basil, spicy nutmeg, and clary sage. The base notes are warm and soothing with hints of balsamic styrax, woody cedar, vetiver, earthy oakmoss, musk, patchouli, golden amber, fir, soothing sandalwood, worn leather, and Tonka bean.

The cologne is long-lasting to survive the day with you, and has a moderate sillage to be tantalizing without being overpowering. It was created by Loewe, a Spanish clothing brand that was founded in 1846 and is based in Madrid. The company was named the official supplier to the Spanish royal house in 1905 and launched their first fragrance in 1972.
