L’eau D’issey (Issey Miyake) Perfume by Issey Miyake, L’Eau D’Issey (issey Miyake) was launched in 1992 and was the first fragrance to be introduced by the brand. French for ?Issey?s water?, the scent is fresh and feminine and is perfect for every-day wear. The perfume opens with flowery and aquatic top notes of cyclamen, lotus, rose water and freesia. The floral sensation continues with heart notes of white lily, carnation and peony. The base notes consist of sandalwood, musk, tuberose, amber seed, cedarwood and osmanthus.
Born in Hiroshima, Japan in 1938, Issey Miyake studied graphic design in his home country. After university, he moved to Paris and New York, where he would work with some of the top designers, including Givenchy and Guy Laroche. In 1970, he moved back to Tokyo and launched his own label, named after himself. Beginning with women?s fashion, the brand became known for using innovative Japanese technology to create its clothing and bring the East and West together through fashion.
