Tom Ford Noir Anthracite Cologne by Tom Ford, Tom Ford Noir Anthracite is a spicy cologne that was released in 2017. The fragrance opens with notes of bergamot, ginger, and Sichuan pepper. At its heart are notes of jasmine sambac, tuberose, and galbanum. The base contains cedar, patchouli, Macassar wood, and Ceylonese sandalwood notes.

In 2005, Tom Ford was founded by Thomas Carlyle Ford. Though Ford attended Parsons School of Design initially to study architecture, during an internship abroad working for a fashion house, he found his passion for the industry. He landed his first position with Cathy Hardwick and then moved to work with Perry Ellis prior to realizing his pursuit may fair better in Europe. From there, Ford began working with Gucci and was appointed director of the marketing campaign for the companyÕs new acquisition, Yves Saint Laurent. His campaign was met with great success, and launched FordÕs career. Ford continued to show his directing capabilities in 2009 with his film A Single Man.
