A collab that will be remembered as a watershed moment in modern sneaker culture, Jordan Brand and French fashion house Dior linked up to release two of the most luxurious Jordan 1s ever to be constructed. The collaboration first debuted during the Dior Fall 2020 runway show in 2019, creating buzz around the sneaker’s impending release. Many were unsure of the collaboration ever seeing a public drop because of Dior’s high-fashion status and the rarity of the label working on an athletic trainer. But through an official raffle on Dior’s site, the Jordan 1 collaboration finally saw the light of day. The Jordan 1 Dior is the perfect marriage of sport and luxury, highlighting both Jordan’s amazing feats in basketball and Dior’s unique strides in fashion.
